install it only by cloning the repo, in case you want to edit the keybindings after doing 

git clone https://mpr.hunterwittenborn.com/chadwm-git.git
cd chadwm-git
makedeb -i

edit the file in chadwm-git/src/chadwm/chadwm/config.def.h in order to change the keybindings if you wish to do so. after editing that file do a manual make install 

$ pwd
~/chadwm-git/src/chadwm/chadwm

$ sudo make install

thats the only point to remember for everyone. in order to add startup services add them to ~/usr/bin/dwm-autostart which is a startup shell script

P.s. if you dont want to change anything in the config.def.h then normal makedeb way of installation is sufficient.
